Kin first appears in volume 4, chapter 35, pg 159 during the Chuunin Exams along with the rest of her team. Unlike Dosu and Zaku, who seem to have developed a bond with each other, Kin is detached from them. They only knew each other through working on the mission, and because of it, Zaku does not think twice about injuring Kin in order to complete the mission. Her technique involves using bells and needles, an old trick. She seems to be the weakest on her team, or at least the least glorious, but puts great emphasis on the need for strength, not vanity. She despises Sakura for being so vain with her hair.
